Mediatalo, “Media House”, is the first building we come to on the Yle campus. The street address of this part of the complex is Uutiskatu 5. The building was originally called Radiotalo, “Radio House”, and it has been expanded multiple times since its original construction in the 1960s, most recently in 1979 when the high-rise section at front was added, designed by Kurt Simberg. Parts of the building are being renovated for a new corporate headquarters, replacing Iso Paja (seen earlier), which has been sold.
